Pingo's mission is to install solar panels on every roof within one decade. We were founded in 2013 by a group of engineers, an economist and trade professionals that wanted to prove the solar systems can be affordable and that the buying process can be enjoyable at the same time. Pingo started with the idea that democratizing solar was the single most effective way to combat climate change.
To do this, we set out to prove that we can build cost effective solar systems at an affordable price. To advance this goal, we innovated with custom hardware and software solutions pushing the boundaries of the industry. To do this, in 2019 we released a new customer-direct platform that allows customers to easily purchase solar systems online.
